Fraser Speirs, developer of FlickrExport, in response to a complaint about the pricing of his products:
I'm not sure if it's totally clear from the website, but FlickrExport is not a Yahoo/Flickr product. I don't work for Flickr and Yahoo doesn't pay me for the work I do on FlickrExport.
Is there some revenue model other than direct-payment licensing that you think would be better for FlickrExport? Always open to ideas but I do like it when my children have food to eat, so revenue has to come in somehow.
